NERO 🌟 READY FOR ADOPTION 🌟 Male | Date of Birth: 10/01/2023 | Medium Size (15 Kg) Neutered | Microchipped | Vaccinated ________________________________________ ❄️ NERO’s Story – Left to Freeze Nero’s story begins on a bitter, freezing winter day. He was abandoned. Left outside. Alone. A neighbour found him almost frozen — weak, cold and discarded as if he meant nothing. But he survived. And despite being abandoned in such a cruel way, Nero did not lose his trust in people. That tells you everything about his heart. ________________________________________ 🐶 About NERO Nero is a medium-sized mixed breed boy with a beautiful black coat, white chest and expressive eyes. He weighs around 15 Kg — the perfect manageable size. He is: ✔ Gentle ✔ Friendly ✔ Sweet-natured ✔ Confident but not dominant ✔ Good with other dogs ✔ Affectionate and cuddly He currently lives in a yard environment and adapts well to outdoor life, but what he truly wants is to be closer to people. He enjoys attention. He enjoys being stroked. He enjoys human company. He has normal, healthy energy — not hyper, not lazy — just a balanced young dog who would thrive with regular walks and family life. ________________________________________ 📏 Measurements • Weight: 15 Kg • Back length: 58 cm • Neck circumference: 38 cm • Chest circumference: 60 cm • Side body length: 58 cm A very practical medium size — easy to manage, easy to travel with, easy to integrate into home life. ________________________________________ 🧬 Possible Breed Mix Nero appears to have Border Collie or Shepherd-type influence blended with a softer mixed rural line. This usually means: • Loyal and people-focused • Intelligent • Quick to bond • Responsive to training • Naturally affectionate He has that trusting, soulful look of a dog who just wants to belong. ________________________________________ 🏡 NERO’s Ideal Home Nero would thrive in: 🌿 A secure private garden 🏡 A stable, loving home 💛 A family who want a true companion He could live with: ✔ Other friendly dogs ✔ Dog-savvy children ✔ Active but calm households He is not suitable for: 🚫 Guarding 🚫 Working 🚫 Assistance / Service roles 🚫 Breeding He is a PET. A family dog. Nothing else. ________________________________________ 🩺 Health Nero is: ✔ Vaccinated ✔ Microchipped ✔ Neutered ✔ In good general health He is a young dog (born January 2023) with many years of loyalty and love ahead of him. ________________________________________ 🤝 Our Promise & Your Commitment When you adopt Nero, you do not simply take a dog home. You join the Friends InDeed family. Nero will always have full rescue back-up. We stand by him for life — and by you too. We will not allow that to happen again. ________________________________________ 🚗 Adoption & Transport You can meet Nero in Calverton (NG14 6NY) or we can bring him to you. You pay nothing until you meet him and decide he is right for you. ________________________________________ 🖤 Final Words Nero was left to freeze. Yet today, he still trusts. He still leans into a gentle touch. He still looks at people with hope. He is not bitter. He is not broken. He is ready. All he needs now… is someone who will never let him stand alone in the cold again. 🖤 Adrian & Maria Friends InDeed Dog Rescue
