🐶 Malik is a 7,5-year-old Large gentleman, probably Malamute or cross, with a calm presence and a mind that seems to understand everything before you even speak. In foster, they call him “The Professor.” And it fits. There is something thoughtful, dignified and deeply intelligent about him.

💔 Rescue Story
Malik was found on a territory of abandoned factory. Lonely and not needed. He was taken to a municipal shelter/sterilisation centre. Under local rules, found dogs are sterilised, microchipped and vaccinated, then given just three weeks to find a home. If no one comes, they are released back onto the streets.
Volunteers knew some dogs simply could not survive that cycle or when they are so kind natured, that it’s simply incredibly not fair. And he was saved before being returned to uncertainty.

Malik lives comfortably in a home environment and walks perfectly on lead. He greets new people immediately but without pressure — calm, polite, balanced.
He seems to understand human emotions in a remarkable way. He adjusts himself to what is needed in the moment. If you want calm, he is calm. If you throw a ball, he can happily run after it (energy around 7/10), but he is not chaotic.
He loves looking into people’s eyes, as if quietly reading them. There is real depth to him. Affectionate but not demanding. Steady. Grounded. Dignified.
He is friendly with other dogs and social, yet mature enough not to be silly or overwhelming.
