Description

Uriel is a very pretty little Brittany, weighing just 14kg. She was one of 33 Brittanys that were kept together on a piece of land and used for hunting and showing. The land they lived on was being sold and one of the shelters we work with was quick to step in and get as many of the dogs out as they could before they ended up with other hunters. They managed to get 17 of the dogs, which are being sponsored across three different organisations. Uriel is being funded by TSPP and is now safe in kennels until she finds a home. Uriel arrived at the shelter with a lot of fear. At first, the ladies at the shelter weren’t able to get close enough to her to get photos. But now she’s settled and is happy to get gentle cuddles from the people at the shelter she knows. Uriel shares a kennel with another brittany and the two of them get on really well. Happily eating together and they love running around together outside. Uriel would do best in a home with a friendly resident dog to show her the ropes, and a generally quiet household where she can find her feet. She can be cat tested for the right home.
