Description
I have made a decision to re-home my 7 month old miniature poodle puppy.
He's a lovely energetic and social puppy who absolutely loves all people, children and dogs. He will prosper in an active family house.
He is pretty well behaved all round, with occasional bursts of energy/mischief like any other puppy.
I have continuously been training him, including formal training, so he knows the most important commands (leave it, sit, wait, drop (although this one is harder for him to execute consistently), stop it) and, most importantly, he is able to self-regulate in most cases. He still requires consistent structure and direction to make sure it sticks for years to come, as he is still learning the manners and how to interact with the world. His recall off leash is about 80% reliable at this point, so needs further training. He's generally good on leash and rarely pulls.
He's playpen trained but I've never crated him. I intentionally worked on separation anxiety from the first week I got him. He can be left alone for up to 4 hours if in a playpen, and I am happy to provide a foldable spacious playpen that I've been using for time-outs and for when he can't be supervised.
He's been toilet trained from a young age, with only a couple number 1 accidents in the house due to my own fault of not taking him out exactly at the right time.
I did my best to provide the best care for him, and he's been fed good food, as well as desensitised to grooming, loud noises, public places, transport, etc.
He will leave with his toys and chewies, which can occupy him for some time while you're busy. He was KC registered by the original breeder and I've got the papers.
