Description
Asprouli arrived last week from Greece and has settled so well into his new UK life. He is now ready to find a family of his own.
Asprouli is just a wonderful boy, so well-behaved.
Asprouli is approximately 2 years old, neutered, and a Cretan mountain breed. His current weight is 48kg, which is a little underweight, so he will need to gain approx 5kg more.

Dogs name: Asprouli
Where does Asprouli sleep at night? On the sofa, downstairs with our dogs. He sleep all night. Not a peep is heard.
How is Asprouli with current pets? He is a very sweet boy with lovely dog manners. He wants to play, but our dogs are a little older. He meets dogs outside and no issues. He will back down if a dog growls at him and walks away. He is playful and would love another dog to play with.
Is Asprouli clean indoors? Yes, henever messed. He goes to the back door if he wants to go out.
Can Asprouli be left alone? Yes, so far 2 hours and no issues. Just sleeps.
Is Asprouli out on walks? Yes, he loves his walks. He is very well behaved. He does not pull on the lead. Walks lovely. Asprouli is enjoying off lead time, and his recall is good. He will need some consistent work on recall as he is a nosey boy and likes to explore his surroundings. So the area must be safe for off lead.
Has Asprouli met with other dogs? Yes, we have had dogs come into our home, and he accepts them. We meet other dogs on walks. He is a young dog, quite goofy and puppy like. He wants to play with other dogs, toys and people. Then back to snoozing.
How is Asprouli with humans? Lovely, he is very happy to see you in the morning and even jumps up, so happy. He loves to give you his paw, we have named him Big Bopper, as he loves to bob you with his paw. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves a snuggle on the sofa. We have met strangers outside and no concerns.
Have you noticed if Asprouli is afraid of any particular things?
He isn’t a fan of the Hoover, and will walk away from it. The car is quite stressful for him, he will travel well but pants a lot. Sadly, his journeys in vehicles have been to the vets, and scary tarnsport ot the UK. Short trips somewhere fun, and he will adapt. He has met a young, boisterous child and was quite wary, so we are saying children over 12 years.

Asprouli is a wonderful, goofy, funny, loving charachter. His personality is starting to show.
Asprouli is a very easy, he loves his food and loves Butternut box, so a family will need to be aware that the food bill will be higher due to his size. He accepts a brush and will need regular brushing, or your floors will be hairy.
Ideal home: Asprouli would love a dog to play with. He loves a sofa. He loves cuddles, and he loves his food. He needs a family who will show him adventures, allow him off lead, meet other dogs, continue his recall training and exposure to life in the UK.
We would love a family with another playful sociable dog, and children will need to be over 12 years old. A family with time for walks and to continue adventures for Asprouli.
