Description

Smurf (Cunningshot Naga at Ravensyard) is now available for stud! He is proven and is genetically Bb (can produce liver & white puppies) Smurf is a hard working lad who really strives to work with you and please - he always wants to get it right! Hard hunting and will smash bramble but not hot or hard headed, a brilliant game producer and finder and has a fantastic mark and retrieve. He's been renamed Show Pony by our gamekeeper due to his flashy hunt style and steadiness and stop to flush! He ran in his first trial at 18 months old and was one of only 6 to complete their first run in a field of much more experienced dogs and received extremely positive comments from the judges. He will be trialling this season. At home he's a quiet lad with a true off switch and is never a bother or naughty and loves a snuggle. He's sociable with other dogs and humans but never over the top and definitely my dog! Training him has been an absolute joy and easy due to his nature and he really is my Mr Reliable. If I want a stress free day Smurf is the dog I pick. He's happy to beat, pick up and sit on peg and is steady as a rock to birds dropping around him. Smurf is a small boy weighing in at 12.5kg, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in drive and heart. Hips - 3/4 Elbows - 0/0 AMS, Fuco, PFK, PRA - Clear BVA eye - unaffected. PLA - 0
