Description
We are looking for a very special forever home for **Sol**, a handsome 2-year-old, KC registered Cocker Spaniel originally bred here at Mayvehnee.
Sadly, due to his owners' relationship breakdown and a change in circumstances, Sol has returned to us to find a new home. As his breeders, we take our lifelong responsibility to our puppies seriously and are committed to finding him the right match.
💙 **A little about Sol**
Sol is an entire male with a lovely temperament. He's full of life, energetic and enthusiastic, with plenty of that wonderful Cocker Spaniel character! Although he can be excitable, he is equally capable of settling down and enjoying some quieter time.
🐾 Good with children.
🐾 Mixes well with our girls and has appeared friendly towards unfamiliar dogs.
🐾 Cat compatibility is unknown.
🐾 KC registered and entire (not neutered).
🐾 Would benefit from a refresher on his basic training. His recall appears promising, although we haven't yet tested this in open spaces.
🐾 Lead walking is generally good once he's settled, although he can be enthusiastic and excited at the beginning of a walk.
🌿 **The home we're looking for**
Ideally, we'd love to find Sol a **smallholding, farm or rural home**, or somewhere he can enjoy an active, predominantly outdoor lifestyle.
We feel he would particularly suit someone who spends plenty of time outside, perhaps around horses, on a smallholding or simply enjoying the countryside.
Sol is a young, lively dog with plenty to offer. He would benefit from someone willing to continue his training, provide plenty of mental and physical stimulation and give him the opportunity to channel his enthusiasm positively.
Whilst we'd love to find him a rural home, the right people and lifestyle are ultimately more important than the location.
🏡 **Finding the right home is our absolute priority.** We are in no rush and will carefully consider all enquiries to ensure Sol finds a loving, secure and permanent home.
📩 If you think you could offer Sol the home he deserves, please send us a message telling us a little about yourself, your home, your experience with dogs and the lifestyle you could offer him.
❤️ **Once a Mayvehnee puppy, always part of the Mayvehnee family.**
References will be required from prospective owners, and we reserve the right to decline any home we don't feel is the right match for Sol.
