SHE WAS FOUND WANDERING WITH TWO PUPPIES BESIDE HER… NOW MOCA IS THE ONE LEFT WAITING. Imagine being just 18 months old and already knowing what it feels like to have nowhere to call home. No warm bed. No familiar voice calling your name. No door to wait beside because you know your person is coming home. Just you… and two little puppies walking beside you, who we believe may have been Moca’s babies. We will never know the full story of what happened to this beautiful young girl before she was found. But what breaks our hearts most is that, despite everything, Moca still absolutely adores people. She hasn’t become hardened. She hasn’t stopped trusting. She hasn’t stopped loving. Give her some attention and she melts into it. Give her a cuddle and she’ll happily soak up every second. All Moca really wants is what every dog deserves — to belong to somebody. And what an incredible girl she is. Moca is calm, gentle, friendly and affectionate, and she gets along wonderfully with every dog she meets. She has so much love to give. But love needs somewhere to go. Right now, Moca is still living in our care, watching the world go on around her while she waits for somebody to finally choose her. We don’t want rescue life to become normal for her. She’s only 18 months old. She should be curled up on someone’s sofa. She should have her own favourite toy, her own walking route and her own spot on the bed that she definitely wasn’t supposed to steal. She should know the sound of her family coming home. She should know what it feels like to close her eyes at night and be completely safe. Most of all, she should know that she will never be abandoned or unwanted again. It costs absolutely nothing to share her story, but that one share could reach the person who has been waiting for a dog exactly like her. Moca survived the chapter where she had nowhere to call home. Now she deserves the chapter where somebody says: “You’re safe now, Moca.
