This is Teddy, a beautiful, loving and cheeky Golden Retriever who is nearly 2 years old. This is a genuine and very difficult sale, and my main priority is finding Teddy the right loving home where he can get the time and one-to-one care he deserves. Teddy is a friendly, affectionate boy with a lovely personality. He is good with children and currently lives happily with two other dogs and two cats. He has also had short stays in kennels and is very good in kennels. Teddy is fully up to date with his vaccinations, kennel cough, flea and worm treatments, and he is neutered. He also has regular health checks. Teddy’s health ❤️ It has recently come to our attention that Teddy suffers from allergies. We have spoken with our vet and, on their advice, Teddy is currently fed Hill’s Prescription Diet Derm Complete to help manage his allergies. Allergies can be quite common in Golden Retrievers, and Teddy is otherwise a happy, loving boy. However, his new family would need to be aware that his specialist food is an ongoing requirement and comes at an additional cost. It is important to us that Teddy goes to someone who is financially able to continue providing him with the food and veterinary care he needs. A little honesty about Teddy ❤️ I want to be completely honest about Teddy and his behaviour because finding the right home for him is much more important to me than simply finding him a home. * Teddy can be a very excitable young boy, particularly when he sees other dogs. * On walks, he can sometimes pull, lunge and bark when he sees other dogs. We believe this is mainly excitement and frustration because he wants to interact and play, rather than aggression. * When he is off lead, Teddy enjoys being around and playing with other dogs, but his recall is not fully reliable yet, so he cannot currently be trusted off lead in every situation. * He knows his basic commands but would really benefit from continued training, especially with recall, lead manners and managing his excitement around other dogs. * Because of this, I would ideally like Teddy to go to someone who has experience with Golden Retrievers or similar breeds, and who is confident and patient with a young, strong and excitable dog. * He would really benefit from someone who has lots of time to give him one-to-one attention, proper exercise, training and mental stimulation. * Teddy has a lovely nature and is a very loving boy, but he is still young and needs someone willing to put the time and consistency into his training.please contact for more information 5🌟only please as this is such a sad sale
