Description

Bueno was rescued along with his 7 siblings from a ditch in a rural area in Romania, luckily they were spotted and taken into our partner shelter where they were safe and cared for. Since then, Bueno’s siblings have all gone on to find loving homes. He travelled to the UK and shortly after arriving in January 2025 he found a home. Sadly, he was returned to us and due to being unable to find a foster for him, he went into kennels. Where he has been waiting and hoping for his forever family. Bueno is a very special boy. He has been struggling in the kennels, he finds the world a scary place and needs that special someone to show him that there is a life of love and happiness waiting for him. Once Bueno feels comfortable, and has built trust, he enjoys strokes and will gently nudge for some more. Outside of the kennels and in a secure field Bueno has thrived. He has enjoyed walks in his harness with other dogs and finds comfort being with them. Bueno has felt confident enough to play and come back for cuddles. He has also travelled well in the car. Bueno’s transformation has been incredible, given the opportunity, in a warm loving home, he will blossom even further and finally learn that the world isn’t as scary as it seems. A home that is rural or suburban would best suit Bueno, to give him the space and environment where he can take one day at a time. He would be suitable with another dog that is well balanced and can provide guidance and support to Bueno. He will require lots of encouragement, understanding and time to enable him to build confidence. The reward will be immeasurable.
