Lucky will be joining us Friday (Oct 9th) and he’ll be spending around a week in foster with us before he’ll be ready to find the right forever home 💛   His name is Lucky for a VERY good reason 🥹 At only a few months old, Lucky was found in North Macedonia after being hit by a car. His injuries meant he needed two orthopaedic surgeries on his hip and hind leg, followed by lots of vet check ups and recovery. Thankfully, his operations were considered successful and this little guy clearly didn’t get the memo that he’d had such a rough start because we’ve seen many videos of him being a bouncy bundle of joy😂 Now around 8/9 months old, Lucky is described by his rescue as a happy, lively and playful pup who loves life, playing with toys, going for walks and being around people. He’s currently living with other foster dogs and gets along well with them too 🐶💛 He does still have a small limp sometimes following his injuries, which the rescue says is often barely noticeable. When climbing stairs he may lift both of his back legs together, but otherwise he uses his hind leg and runs, bounces and plays normally. A little about Lucky 🍀 🐾 Male mixed breed  🎂 Around 8/9 months old  ⚖️ 8kg  🐕 Small/medium size  💛 Happy, playful and lively  🐶 Currently living happily with other dogs  🧸 Loves toys  🌳 Enjoys his walks  🚗 Travels okay in the car  🦮 Lead training is ongoing  🏡 Will need some help with house training  🍽️ Not described as a fussy eater  💉 Vaccinated & microchipped  ✈️ Pet passport  🩺 4D & Brucella tested negative  ✂️ Not currently neutered  🐱 Not cat tested  👧 Not child tested He has also been described as having the gentlest eyes and loving human company and getting involved in whatever you’re doing 🥹 We’ll obviously be learning SO much more about Lucky once he arrives with us. We want to see how he settles into home life, what he’s like around our dogs, his confidence, training, toilet habits, how he handles being left, his little quirks and what kind of home we think will suit him best.
