Description
Teddy – Chow Chow | Born January 2025 ❤️
This is probably one of the hardest things we have ever had to write. With a completely broken heart, we have made the decision to find Teddy a new home. We love him so much, and this is not because we don’t want him — it is because we know he deserves more time, attention and companionship than we are currently able to give him.
Teddy was born in January 2025 and is a KC registered Chow Chow. He is the most gorgeous, fluffy and soft boy. He is incredibly loving and loyal towards his owners and very protective of the people he loves. Once Teddy trusts you, he has so much love to give.
He is fully house trained and is fine around other dogs.
Teddy can be wary of people he doesn’t know and does not immediately take to strangers. Because of this, anyone interested in giving Teddy a home would need to understand that trust takes time. We would expect several meetings before he went anywhere, allowing Teddy to get to know you, build a bond and become comfortable with you. We would never simply hand him over to someone he doesn’t know.
As a Chow Chow, Teddy is a large and strong dog, so his new owner needs to be confident with dogs, understand the breed and be prepared to continue with his training and socialisation. His protective nature means he needs someone who is patient, consistent and understands his personality.
We both work full time and, despite loving Teddy enormously, we simply don’t have the spare time he needs. He deserves an active home with someone who is happy to spend lots of time with him, give him plenty of attention, exercise and continue his training.
This decision is absolutely breaking our hearts. 💔 Teddy is very loved, and we are only considering rehoming him because we genuinely believe that giving him a home where someone can dedicate more time to him is the right thing for him.
We will not rush this. The right home is more important than finding him a home quickly. We want someone who will be patient with Teddy, understand his personality and give him the time he needs to trust them.
All we want is for Teddy to have a happy, active and loving life with someone who can give him everything he deserves. ❤️🐾
