💜 NALA — BEAUTIFUL FAMILY-RAISED ALASKAN MALAMUTE CROSS GIRL
Our beautiful Nala is now the final puppy from Akela's litter still searching for her forever home.
Born on 16 July 2026, Nala is one of seven puppies raised from birth in the middle of our family home.
Her six brothers and sisters now have homes arranged, so we're looking for the right family for this very special little girl.
💜 MEET NALA — PURPLE COLLAR
Nala is a beautiful light red girl, similar in colouring to her mum, with an incredibly sweet, angelic little face.
Don't let that innocent face fool you, though — there is a wonderfully feisty little personality underneath it!
Nala is playful, confident, inquisitive and loves being involved in whatever is happening.
She absolutely loves playing with her siblings and isn't remotely intimidated by her much bigger brothers. She'll happily get involved in their games, give as good as she gets and then come looking for attention from us.
She's also one of the more vocal characters of the litter and has discovered that she rather enjoys using her little bark!
Nala is affectionate and very interactive with people. She's grown into a confident little character who combines a genuinely adorable appearance with plenty of personality.
She is currently 3.4 kg at six weeks old and has been steadily monitored throughout her development.
Her siblings may all have found their families first, but we're in absolutely no rush with Nala.
We're looking for the right home, not simply the first one.
ABOUT MUM & DAD
Mum, is seven years old. Her father was a full Alaskan Malamute and her mother was half Akita and half Husky.
Dad is a full Alaskan Malamute.
Temperament has always been extremely important to us.
Mum is incredibly loving, loyal and devoted to our family and has been a fantastic mum. Dad is very soft, gentle and affectionate — a big goofball with the typical Malamute love of "talking" and playfully arguing with us.
Both parents live as family dogs, and prospective owners are welcome to meet the dogs Nala has grown up around.
This is Mum's second litter. Her previous litter consisted of seven healthy puppies and was delivered without complication.
Nala is not Kennel Club registered.
HEALTH & CARE
We believe in being completely open with prospective owners.
Neither parent has undergone formal breed-specific genetic or health testing.
Akela has received veterinary health checks every six months throughout her life, and Dad has also received regular veterinary care. Our vet has been very happy with the health of both parents.
We have carefully monitored Nala and her siblings throughout their development, including regularly recording their weights and progress.
Before leaving, Nala will be:
• Microchipped
• Vet health checked between six and eight weeks of age
• Raised and well socialised within our family home
• Accustomed to everyday household life, people and other animals
RAISED AS PART OF OUR FAMILY
Nala has spent her entire life inside our busy family home, rather than being raised separately in kennels or an outbuilding.
From birth she has been handled, cuddled and interacted with every day.
She is growing up alongside children, her mum & Dad and our other Malamute family dog, our family cat, visitors and all the normal sounds and activity of a busy household.
At six weeks old, Nala and her siblings now have supervised freedom around the house and access to our private garden. They run, wrestle, explore, investigate new things and interact extensively with both people and our adult dogs.
Our other dog has even taken on the role of a very gentle "auntie", regularly spending time lying with, watching over and playing with the puppies alongside Mum.
Nala is eating puppy food as part of the weaning process while Mum still happily spends time with and nurses her puppies.
We will continue giving her positive experiences and involving her in normal family life until she leaves us.
NALA'S FOREVER HOME
Nala will be ready to leave at eight weeks old, from approximately 10 September 2026.
Viewings are very welcome and encouraged before any deposit is taken.
Finding the right home matters far more to us than finding the quickest buyer.
Alaskan Malamute-type dogs grow into large, intelligent and powerful dogs. They require appropriate training, exercise, grooming, stimulation, time and long-term commitment.
Please research Malamutes and northern breeds carefully before enquiring.
When contacting us, we'd love to hear a little about you, your household, any children or existing pets, your experience with dogs and the type of home and lifestyle you can offer Nala.
You're welcome to visit, meet Nala and spend time with the dogs she has grown up around. We're also very happy to provide additional photographs and videos.
Once we have met and both sides are happy to proceed, a £250 non-refundable reservation deposit will secure Nala until collection.
