Description

We are delighted to introduce Akela's beautiful litter of eight puppies, born on 15/16 July 2026. We have: 5 boys 3 girls The puppies' colours and markings are: 2 dark mahogany boys 1 white boy with striking mahogany markings 5 light red puppies, similar in colouring to their mum (3 boys and 2 girls) These puppies are not Kennel Club registered. Mum, Akela, is seven years old. Her father was a full Alaskan Malamute, while her mother was half Akita and half Husky. Dad is a three-year-old full Alaskan Malamute. Both parents have exceptional family temperaments. Akela is an incredibly loving and devoted dog who absolutely dotes on her family. Dad is a gentle, affectionate goofball with a very entertaining habit of talking and playfully arguing with us. This is Akela's second litter. Her previous litter consisted of seven healthy puppies and was delivered without complication. Neither parent has undergone formal breed-specific health testing. However, Akela has received veterinary health checks every six months throughout her life, and Dad has also received regular veterinary health checks while living with us. Our vet has always been very pleased with the health of both parents. The puppies are being raised inside our busy family home alongside children, three Malamute-type dogs (including their mum) and a cat. They will receive plenty of handling, affection and early exposure to the everyday sights, sounds and activity of family life, giving them the best possible start before moving to their forever homes. Before leaving, every puppy will be: Microchipped Vet health checked between six and eight weeks of age Raised and well socialised within our family home The puppies will be ready to leave at eight weeks old, from approximately 10 September 2026. We welcome viewings before any deposit is taken. Choosing the right homes for these puppies is extremely important to us, and we would like to meet prospective owners to ensure each puppy is matched with a loving, committed family. A £250 non-refundable reservation deposit will secure your chosen puppy once both parties are happy to proceed. Alaskan Malamute-type dogs are large, intelligent and powerful dogs that require time, training, exercise and commitment. Please ensure you have researched the breed and carefully considered the long-term responsibility before enquiring.
