This listing is for 6 nymphs (1st and 2nd instar) of Diapherodes gigantea, the very large and beautiful bright green stick insect from Granada (otherwise known as the Giant Lime Green Stick Insect).
Only £12 including first class postage for six healthy nymphs.
These were produced by large mated females and which have hatched over the past few weeks. My stock seems to be larger than most with the wide bodied females averaging an adult length of 16 to 18cm, some even longer! The adult males are smaller and brown in colour and have well developed wings - they fly quite well!
They are an easy species to rear at room temperature and feed on bramble, eucalyptus, rose and oak. A care sheet will be provided and there is plenty of care information readily available on the web (just google 'Diapherodes gigantea care').
