Meet Dusk 💙 Male 1 year old Medium size Available for foster, foster to adopt, and adoption Location: Current home in Hampshire 💙 Dusk travelled from the Romanian shelter when he was a year old and has been in his current home for the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, he hasn’t settled well and with him being fearful of the male, he is now looking for a new home. Dusk can be very anxious, he will growl and bark at visitors that he doesn't know and it can take a while for him to warm up to people. He much prefers women and he can be fearful of men. Dusk is confident when meeting other dogs and behaves appropriately with them so it would be beneficial for him to go to a home with other dogs to help him gain some confidence. Dusk walks very well on a soft lead, loves to have a good sniff and isn’t bothered by anything around him. He is happy to have the male walk him when outside even though he avoids him inside the house. Dusk would suit a female only, or female led household, ideally a calm and quiet environment with few visitors. He is not your typical cuddly lap dog, although he will accept being stroked by people he feels comfortable with.
