what can I say about this character, Beau is a beautiful young boy who is full of energy, he is a husky/collie and is a beautiful red colour, although we call him ginger.
we took Beau in at 3 months after a relationship breakdown, as a friend for our older dog. he's certainly grown into a big boy, so much so he has simply outgrown our situation, and we feel we cannot meet is exercise needs as much as we wished we could.
on the topic of exercise, he walks both on and off lead, will pull at first when on lead but will soon settle down.
off lead he will happily run from the car into his favourite field and lay there waiting for you to chuck his ball, and keep chucking all the time, he's only interested in his ball, he tends to ignore other dogs if they are in the distance, choosing ball over dogs, he will say hi to dogs in his vicinity, and has a good mix of dogs he is friends with and see's daily, and never gets aggressive with anyone who steals his ball.
he loves cuddles on the sofa, so much so he forgets he isn't a lap dog, and most nights you'll find him hogging our bed.
he currently lives with 1 other dog and 3 cats, he is fine around cats but often tries to either chase them or break up their play fighting.
he currently lives with another dog and enjoys play fighting stealing her toys and curling up together, he would suit either living with another similar age and level dog or indeed on his own getting everyone's full attention.
he currently lives with a 14yo and 6yo, he can be a little impulsive around little ones with snacks, and can often forget how big he is, so ideally living with older children.
he probably would not suit children who haven't be raised with a dog.
he can be left home alone for periods of time with no issues,
he is upto date on flea, worms and vaccinations, he testicles are undescended are will need to have these removed at some point, aside from that he is a healthy boy.
he currently enjoys a raw diet and loves his food
looking for the perfect home for this boy with someone who's going to have the time to exercise him right and enjoy watching his training expand and enjoy this beautiful boy, we will sadly miss him but his happiness is the main reality.
