Description
On 14th February Poppy blessed us with 6 liver and white Puppies.
Poppy is a very busy spaniel, who likes to hunt and is always carrying a toy around. We have taken Poppy with us to our local shoot and she has contributed to the beating line - she is very brave and forward, and is also my companion at the horses as well as enjoys a social trip to the pub! At home, Poppy switches off and becomes affectionate and less busy.
I bred this litter purely for a puppy to keep and work, and had a couple of people who also wanted one with her "go". Now they have chosen their pups, I am pleased to open up viewings for the remaining puppies. The Puppies are confident, playful and affectionate, like Poppy - plus occasional razor sharp ankle biting at play time! They have also been crate trained from early days and know it is not a toilet.
Poppy is more of a petit sporty girl, so we chose a stud dog with a slightly larger frame as to not continue to breed smaller and risk health problems further down the line as seen in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. He also works picking up and beating regularly, so these pups have the instinct to work. Dog has been health checked and Poppy is from Health Tested parents - waiting on her test results to come back.
