Matilda, lovingly called Motia by her foster, is a 10 months old girl, lower medium in size (below the knee), with a soft nature and a playful spirit. She is gentle and thoughtful when meeting new people, watching quietly at first, then slowly leaning in once she feels safe. When trust builds, she becomes a true little shadow, staying close and seeking connection.

💔 Rescue Story
Matilda was found as a small puppy near a roadside, alone and vulnerable. No mother, no siblings, just one lonely, clearly abandoned, puppy. Life could have taken a very different path for her, but she was brought to safety and given a chance to grow in warmth and care. From those uncertain beginnings, she has blossomed into a loving young dog who simply wants to belong.

Motia lives in a home environment and sleeps happily in bed with her foster. She is friendly with all dogs and especially enjoys playing when she has canine company around her. In a new environment, she may need a little time to decompress and build trust, but she is eager to connect and becomes affectionate once she feels secure. She loves to run and would enjoy having access to a garden where she can stretch her legs. At home, she prefers company, so she would benefit from someone being home most of the time. She thrives on companionship.

Matilda would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly dog, as she learns quickly by copying and gains confidence through companionship. A household with a garden and people who enjoy outdoor time would suit her perfectly.
