Our beautiful Bonnie has given birth to her first litter, 4 absolutely adorable puppies.
Bonnie comes from fantastic working cocker spaniel bloodlines.
She has an amazing, attentive nature. An extremely intelligent dog, Bonnie was a pleasure to train, a very happy dog who’s eager to please. A very loving girl who has made an incredible first time mum. She has fed them without the need for intervention up to the start of their weening schedule at 4 weeks old.
Dad is Charlie, a beautiful chocolate cocker spaniel with such a friendly, gentle nature.
With health at the forefront of mating partners, Charlie has been health tested for the following:
- Acral Mutilation Syndrome - GDNF
- Degenerative Myelopathy - SOD1
- Exercise induced collapse - DNM1
- Familial Nephropathy - COL4A4
- Glycogen storage disease VII - PFKM
- Progressive Retinal Atrophy - PRCD
Both parents are KC registered, so the pups will be too. They have been reared in our family home, regularly being handled, played with and snuggled by both adults and children, definitely not short of lots of love. They are used to a busy house and all the noises. They settle fantastic of an evening, when the lights go out they know it's bed time. They are happy, healthy puppies who enjoy playing until they drop then cuddled to recharge so they can play some more. They have been weened and are eating ‘puppy’ biscuits and cooked mince. They have puppy mats down in the house during the day and are getting better each day at learning where to do their business. They have been wormed according to their schedule and will be flea treated to protect them.
From strong parents, these pups are going to grow into the most beautiful, athletic working cocker spaniels. A dog that can follow you on any adventure (and then still want to go for a walk, unless you’re happy to cuddle). The ‘Cocker Spaniel’, a dog with bundles of energy who will continually keep you entertained. With such loving and gentle natures and all with their unique characters, this breed will steal your heart.
