Description
I'm having to make the really difficult decision to rehome my Romanian rescue dog, Badger. Badger is 7 months old, male and currently unneutered. We've been working with a behaviourist since he arrived as he's extremely reactive. Due to his behaviour, it's unfortunately having a massive impact on all our mental healths and we're now burnt out not knowing how to manage him. He's very reactive towards other dogs on walks but once in the home, and he's gotten to know them, he plays well with them. He resource guards frequently and is very snappy due to anxiety. Ideally, he needs to be in a 1-2 person household with NO CHILDREN and preferably a larger, dominant dog who can be a role model for badger but also put him in his place. In an ideal world, he would make an excellent working dog on a farm etc as he likes to be kept busy. We believe Badger is a mix of terrier and/or schnauzer and a Romanian Shepherd dog.
