Here I have my gorgeous 5-month-old male Angora rabbit, Bungle, who has the most exceptional temperament.
I’m honestly so sad to even be considering a new home for him, but I feel I need to stop thinking about what I want and think about what might suit him best long term.
Bungle is incredibly friendly, loving and affectionate, and I really feel he would thrive with a rabbit companion and potentially in a home where he could have much more freedom to come and go, almost like a house rabbit. That was actually our original plan, but one of my dachshunds is extremely nurturing and wants to mother him constantly — which is lovely in theory, but she doesn’t quite understand that a rabbit doesn’t necessarily want to be licked and fussed over all day!
He is absolutely adored here, well cared for and cuddled endlessly, so I’m not looking for a “better” home as such — just perhaps a different household dynamic that may suit him more.
I will not consider a home where he is wanted primarily for his wool. I want the right home for him, so please don’t be offended if I ask lots of questions. I’ll be just as fussy about where he goes as I would be with any of my animals.
He was vaccinated by his breeder, so as far as I’m aware he is currently up to date.
He spends time roaming around our cottage garden and is generally very well behaved. He isn’t particularly destructive or chewy, although he will dig because, well… he’s a rabbit!
He will come with his nearly-new Omlet Igloo and run. I do want to be clear though that I would not be happy with this being his only living/exercise space. Rabbits need proper space to run, explore and exercise, so please don’t contact me if your intention would be to keep him confined to a small run all day.
I am asking for a rehoming fee, partly to recover a small fraction of what I’ve spent on his setup, but also because I want someone who is genuinely serious about giving him the right home.

He really is such a special little rabbit, so this isn’t an easy decision at all.
