Our gorgeous little ‘Daisy’ we bought as an 8 week old kitten with a view to breeding from her, we have had her vaccinated, but we think the breeder must have lied to us because we had her tested for the usual things when we first got her because she has what seemed like a cold. She tested positive for FHV which is now completely dormant and very common, many if not most domestic cats carry this. So it wouldn’t be a problem as she was fine straight after antibiotics, but we cannot in good conscience breed from her now, plus we have a multi cat household so the responsible thing to do is let her go to a lovely new home where she is ideally the only cat.
We have had her fully health screened and she has tested clear of everything including PKD and HCM so she should have a long and normal life, it’s just not ideal for cats with FHV to be in stressful environments hence us letting her go to a new home.
She is ADORABLE!! She still looks like a kitten as she’s quite small, I think she will always look quite kitten like, she LOVES to be cuddled and stroked. Lovey and gentle if you have kids.
If you can offer this little poppet a loving home with ideally no other cats or dogs so she can enjoy a calm environment, that would be perfect.
