Millie, our gorgeous red DoubleDoodle, is expecting her 1st litter at the end of January. Millie is a beautiful homebred girl - her mother Willow can also be seen with her at our home in Derbyshire, and Millie’s father is Rufus – an Australian DoubleDoodle from Barbara Lancaster-Williams Doodles. The stud dog (and the puppies’ father) is Randolph, from the equally famous Northcroft doodles. He is a sweet red and white small homebred Australian Labradoodle, so with that combination, the puppies will be gorgeous Australian DoubleDoodles.
Millie has a sweet temperament and is full of fun and life. She’s sociable and loves to be with people, loves to walk, run and play. She’ll greet the doorbell with a bark and is really happy to meet new friends, whether people or dogs.
The waiting list is now open for Millie’s puppies. If you are interested, you are very welcome to come and meet us all before her due date. The puppies will be born and raised in our home and will be handled every day. They will be very much household dogs, brought up indoors and familiar with the sounds of everyday life.
I don’t believe in anyone having to pay a deposit until they have chosen a puppy – I would much prefer that prospective owners get to know mum Millie and grandma Willow, see the environment the puppies will grow up in, meet the puppies when they’re old enough… and only commit when you know it’s right. Come with us on this journey – we’ll provide regular “pupdates” with photos and videos as the pups grow up.
On the big day when you collect your new best friend, he or she will come with a folder with all their records – and photos from day 1! Plus food, a toy, and a homely blanket with Mum’s smells on it. We’ll also set up a WhatsApp group all the new owners can join if they wish – we did this for Millie’s brothers and sisters, and it was lovely to see them all growing up and share experiences and support as your new companion grows up!
We are looking for good homes for these puppies, and so it is important to us that we get to know you. A puppy is a big commitment – there are times in life when even the best owners cannot provide the ideal home. We never want one of our puppies to have to be rehomed. Everyone’s circumstances can change, but if that ever happened we’d like them to come home to “Momma Millie”!
Mum and Dad have been health checked and have good hip scores. Randolph (Dad) has also been DNA checked and is all clear – and the same story with Willow and Rufus (grandparents). Of course they will have had their first jabs and be microchipped before collection.
