Description
Meet Tuna (formerly Tiny Tuna, now...Tall Tuna).
Tuna was found at a cafe, alone, at 2 months old and weighing only 700 grams. He was found by a lovely lady out for a coffee with her sister, a tiny kitten fending for himself and far too small to be out there alone.
Since then, Tuna has lived several lifetimes: getting rescued, having a great time in his first foster home, then sadly falling sick with calici, a month’s long clinic stay in December, a full recovery, a second foster home with a feline sister who wasn’t keen on him (despite him being desperate to be friends) and now a third foster home where he spends a lot of time alone and is craving play time and cuddles.
Tuna is now 10 months old, a really beautiful cat with his soft ginger and white coat and wide eyes, full of curiosity and character. He's endlessly inquisitive and adventurous, exploring every corner, every shelf, under-the-sofa, on-top-of-the-cupboard.
Tuna’s inner kitten is strong: he’s playful, energetic, with occasional zoomies. And he loves to be in the middle of whatever's going on at home.
He's also a total softie: a certified purring machine, who loves head scratches, chest naps and under-the-covers cuddles. He's a firm believer that your lap belongs to him whenever he feels like it. Although a word of warning: avoid the belly, it's a no-go zone.
Tuna is looking for a forever home preferably with:
A cat who wants a friend to both tumble and chill with;
A human who enjoys a cat who can be a little velcro, a lot spirited and understands that he’s still learning the ropes; and
A garden to let out his teenage energy
Since Tuna can nip when his tummy is stroked he probably suits a home that’s adult only or with older children or teens who’ll understand his boundaries.
Adopting Tuna will result in maximum joy and zero boredom :)
Tuna is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative and with a full medical history including blood tests. He can’t wait to meet you!
