Bruno, Loving Family Dog Looking for His Forever Home - (American bulldog x Staff 1.5 years)
£250 Rehoming Fee
We are sadly looking to rehome our wonderful boy Bruno, due to upcoming changes at home. He truly is the sweetest, most affectionate dog with a gentle nature and not a hint of aggression. He loves cuddles on the sofa, giving kisses, and snoozing the day away with his favourite soft toys.
What Makes Him Special
* Kind, loving and extremely gentle
* Amazing with dogs, cats and children
* Knows basic commands (sit, no, bed, out)
* Very affectionate and enjoys being close to his humans
* Fantastic family dog with a wonderful temperment.
🐶What He Needs
He struggles with anxiety and will bark, shake and sometimes urinate when someone new enters the home.
Once he's had a gentle stroke and realises everything is safe, he settles quickly. Because of this, he needs an experienced dog owner who understands anxiety and is willing to put in time, patience, and possibly professional training to help him grow in confidence.
He also pulls strongly on the lead, so continued training in this area will be essential.
Although he gets on brilliantly with other animals and children, he would thrive best in a calm home where he can have lots of one-to-one time, attention and reassurance.
Although it’s not all the time, he does struggle to not go to the toilet through the night sometimes so puppy pads are best.
He is very food motivated however this also means he will do everything he can to get into bins or laying around food. He will never take it from you.
For an anxious dog he gets really excited at fireworks.
He really is the biggest baby and we wish we had the funds and patience to train him however lifestyle changes won’t permit.
🐶Why We're Rehoming
I am currently experiencing some huge lifestyle changes and struggling to meet his emotional needs. This is an incredibly hard decision for us, so we are looking for the perfect match who can give him the love, stability and support he deserves. We would like you to meet with him first, potentially a few times and we would like to check his new home to ensure suitability.
Rehoming Fee: £250
This is simply to ensure he goes to a committed, capable home.
If you feel you can offer him a patient, loving and understanding home, please get in touch. He truly is a one-of-a-kind dog who will reward you with endless love and loyalty. We would look to move him around the beginning of January so that we can spend our last Christmas with him.
