Description
We are very sadly looking for a new home for our beautiful 7-year-old male Havanese, Teddy, due to becoming too unwell to give him the care and attention he deserves.
Teddy is neutered, fully vaccinated, and in good health. He is great off the lead with excellent recall and really enjoys his walks. He is confident with other dogs and generally gets on very well with them. Occasionally, he may take a dislike to large young male dogs (usually under 1 year old) who try to jump on him, but this is typical small-dog confidence rather than aggression.
He is affectionate, bonds closely with his people, and enjoys being involved in daily life. He would suit an adult-only home or a calm household with sensible, dog-savvy children 5+.
Grooming
As with all Havanese, Teddy requires regular grooming. He will need clipping every 6–8 weeks. This can be done professionally, or someone willing to learn could maintain his coat at home with clippers.
Important to Note
Teddy is territorial over the home and garden and will bark when someone knocks at the door or walks past the house. He settles once visitors are properly introduced, but his new owners will need to be prepared to continue working on this behaviour with patience and consistency.
