Rodney – 3-Year-Old German Shepherd Looking for the Right Home This is an incredibly difficult post for us to write, but due to growing tension between Rodney and his brother, we have made the decision that they can no longer safely remain in the same household. Rodney is a 3-year-old entire male German Shepherd who has grown up in a busy family home with children and other dogs. He is a happy, bouncy, affectionate boy with a real love of people and attention. He is well socialised, has a good level of training and is used to the hustle and bustle of family life. Rodney would be best suited to a home where he is the only male dog. He has lived around cats, but he does have a chase instinct if they run, so this would need to be carefully considered. Previous German Shepherd experience is essential. No exceptions will be made on this. Rodney is very much loved, and this decision has not been made lightly. We are not looking for the quickest home for him; we are looking for the right home — somewhere experienced, committed and able to give him the environment he needs to thrive. We will be asking questions of any potential adopter and will want to make sure the match is right for both Rodney and his new family.
