Description

Here is an opportunity to purchase a happy, healthy and well-integrated family of six beautiful white Silkie chickens, together with everything you need to look after them. The flock comprises: 1 cockerel 3 older hens 2 younger hens Their ages and background: The cockerel was hatched in August 2025 from eggs purchased online and incubated at home. The three older hens were hatched in June 2025 and came from a recognized breeder. The two younger hens were hatched in March 2026 from eggs laid by one of the original hens and brought up with the help of the other hens with no extra help required. The hens currently produce approximately 15–20 eggs per week, giving you a lovely regular supply of fresh eggs. Everything included: Indoor accommodation Large indoor sleeping and nesting area. Mesh-top covers and dividers, allowing individual chickens to be separated if necessary. Short access ramp for easy entry and exit. Outdoor accommodation Outdoor chicken coop with battery-operated automatic door and built-in timer. Nest boxes at both ends. Removable droppings tray for easy cleaning. Multiple mesh panels to create a secure outdoor enclosure, which can be arranged to suit your own space. Showerproof gazebo-style cover, originally designed for a BBQ/grill area, providing extra shelter within the outdoor enclosure. All the accessories and essentials: Indoor and outdoor feeders and waterers. Grit and oyster shell dispensers. Any remaining chicken feed. All other accessories and equipment we currently use to care for the flock. £180 for the complete package. This is a ready-to-go Silkie chicken family, with their accommodation, equipment and accessories included. Ideal for someone wanting to start keeping Silkies without having to buy everything separately. Collection only. Buyer to dismantle when collecting but help will be available if required.
