Mollies Fish for sale in Basingstoke, Hampshire

Mollies, also known as molly fish or black mollies, originate from Central and South America. These popular aquarium fish, especially sought after in the United Kingdom, boast a variety of types including the Sailfin Molly and Dalmatian Molly. Physically, Mollies are recognised for their vibrant, often black or speckled scales and the male's distinctive sail-like dorsal fin. They thrive in warm waters around 22-28°C and prefer slightly alkaline conditions with plenty of aquatic plants for hiding. Mollies are livebearers, meaning they give birth to free-swimming young, and are omnivores with a diet including algae and small invertebrates. Known for their peaceful temperament, Mollies adapt well to community tanks, making them suitable for both beginner and experienced fishkeepers. Due to their hardy nature and attractive appearance, they are frequently sought after in the UK market, evidenced by popular search terms such as "molly fish for sale," "black mollies for sale," and "mollies fish price UK". Their easy care needs and friendly disposition make Mollies an excellent choice for home aquariums across the country.
