The Ocicat was first developed rather accidentally in the United States, but these lovely, fierce-looking cats quickly made a name for themselves in the cat world. They are medium to large in size and boast a beautiful spotted coat that resembles that of an ocelot, hence their name. They are domestic cats and have no wild genes in their bloodlines. Over the years, the Ocicat has become known as an affectionate, loyal cat and has found its way into the hearts and homes of people all over the world, including the UK.
