The Basset Hound, also known as Hush Puppy, Bassethound, has earned a place in the hearts and homes of many people both here in the UK and in other parts of the world, thanks to its exceptional looks and amiable nature. The Basset is as comfortable by the fireside as he is out on the moors and can chase prey with relative ease, albeit at his own insistent pace over long distances.
