Cavapoos differ by generation, such as F1, F1b, F1bb, and F2. F1b Cavapoos — bred from an F1 Cavapoo and a Poodle — have around 75% Poodle genetics, resulting in curlier, more hypoallergenic coats and slightly higher energy levels. F1bb Cavapoos, created by breeding an F1b Cavapoo with a purebred Poodle, are around 87.5% Poodle and typically the most hypoallergenic, with tight curls and minimal shedding. F2 Cavapoos come from two F1 parents and can show more variation in appearance, coat type, and shedding levels.
