Zuchon Puppies for sale in Keighley, West Yorkshire

The Zuchon, a blend of the Bichon Frise and the Shih Tzu, is often referred to as the 'Shichon' or 'Teddy Bear Dog'. Characterized by its soft, fluffy coat and friendly demeanor, this compact breed usually weighs between 7 to 15 pounds and stands around 9 to 12 inches tall. Adaptable to various living conditions, the Zuchon is suitable for apartment living. Its coat, available in colors such as white, black, silver, or combinations thereof, is hypoallergenic, but demands regular grooming to maintain its condition. Early training and socialization are beneficial, as the Zuchon can occasionally show a stubborn side, likely inherited from the Shih Tzu lineage. From a health perspective, even though Zuchons are typically robust, being aware of potential health issues common to their parent breeds, such as hip dysplasia or allergies, is crucial for preventive care.
