Meet Cockatiel mum

Hi, we’re not breeders—we just wanted to let our birds do what comes naturally. However, we don’t want to risk inbreeding, so unfortunately for us (but hopefully fortunately for you), we know we need to find homes for the babies. We got the male first (grey) as a rescue and were told he was around 9 months old. He seemed lonely, so we found him a companion. We got our female (yellow) when she was 8 weeks old, and they’re like an old married couple now. They’re both just over 2 years old. They’re very well cared for and have everything they need and more. They’re also being perfect parents—one of them is always in the nesting box feeding the babies.
