About Me
I am verified on Pets4Homes. Verification is important to me as it supports transparency, accountability, and trust, and allows prospective owners to feel confident in who they are communicating with. I am open in my approach and provide clear, accurate information and supporting documentation where relevant.
About Breeding Programme
I am a hobby breeder currently operating below the local authority licensing threshold, following structured, welfare-led practices supported by professional veterinary and specialist input. My approach is careful, deliberate, and grounded in recognised standards of good practice. While my current scale does not require licensing, I intend to register formally once the licensing threshold is met. Compliance, transparency, and doing things properly are important to me, and my practices are designed with future licensing requirements in mind.
My breeding goals focus on:
▪ Health and genetic responsibility
▪ Stable, family-suited temperaments
▪ Emotional wellbeing
▪ Lifelong suitability
Decisions are never driven by volume, trends, or commercial output, but by what is in the best long-term interests of the dogs produced.
Health Testing & Breeding
Breeding decisions are made intentionally and with full consideration of welfare. Parent dogs are selected based on health, temperament, and genetic compatibility.
Health testing protocols are clearly defined and followed, including:
▪ DNA testing (such as Embark where applicable)
▪ Relevant breed-specific screening
Results are used to guide ethical breeding decisions and are shared transparently with prospective owners so informed decisions can be made.
Puppy Care & Socialisation
Puppies are raised in a home environment with structured, age-appropriate socialisation. This includes:
▪ Gentle handling from birth
▪ Exposure to everyday household routines and sounds
▪ Varied surfaces
▪ Positive human interaction
Care routines are consistent and designed to support emotional security, confidence, and resilience as well as physical development.
Operating on a limited scale allows for individualised care and close observation, ensuring each puppy’s development, behaviour, and needs are monitored carefully throughout early life. Puppies are supported through key developmental stages rather than rushed, overstimulated, or treated generically.
Puppy Pack
Each puppy leaves with a carefully prepared puppy pack, which is presented clearly and honestly.
▪ High-quality photos show the actual items provided (not including additional offers and supportive programme benefits)
▪ A detailed written list outlines food, comfort items, toys, and documentation
▪ Documentation includes health records, vaccination details, microchip information, and parent health information where applicable
▪ Any particularly valuable or welfare-focused items are clearly highlighted
Health & Veterinary Care
Health and care are central to my approach.
▪ Parent dogs undergo appropriate health testing
▪ Puppies receive suitable veterinary care for their age
▪ This includes 2+ health checks, full vaccinations, routine worming, and microchipping
▪ All veterinary and health records are provided clearly within the puppy pack
Breeder Reviews & Ongoing Support
Previous puppy owners are encouraged to leave honest reviews and testimonials. Feedback, updates, and ongoing contact are welcomed and valued, reflecting accountability, transparency, and long-term responsibility for the puppies bred.
