I'm absolutely heartbroken to have to rehome my wonderful pup. He is a 7-month-old Kelpie and Border Collie mix (80% Kelpie and 20% Border Collie)
He was born in October, so he’s turning 8 months old soon. He is a medium-sized dog - he’ll grow a bit bigger than he is now, as you can see in the pictures.
He’s sturdy, solid, and has no health issues. He’s fully house-trained and he is a dream in a home with a routine. Thanks to his Border Collie side, he’s incredibly obedient - he knows commands like sit, stay, and down.
He thrives on routine and loves to please. The Kelpie in him gives him endless energy - he needs 2 to 3 walks a day, about 45mins each.
He’s fantastic with kids - my three children (ages 2, 3, and 8) adore him. He never nips or bites and is super playful. He’s a chunky, big pup for his age, and he’s healthy - fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea-treated, and all up to date.
The only reason I have to let him go is that two of my sons are developing a severe allergy, despite all treatments.
He does get a bit nervous, especially during car journeys - so you’ll need to work on that with small, gradual trips.
He does not have a recall yet, so he’ll need a bit more training, but he will stop, sit and wait on command off the lead in an open area.
Just be mindful - he’s a Kelpie, so he loves to chase, he loves playing fetch, loves going for runs and loves to play and cuddle.
He’s a fantastic dog, and I just want to find him the perfect family. If you think you can give him a great home, please contact me.
