Based in the beautiful countryside of North Wales, our home is a busy and happy one, shared by me, my husband, our six-year-old son, our baby daughter, two miniature poodles, a cat and a flock of much-loved chickens.
I’m a teacher by profession, but animals have always been a huge part of my life. Having grown up surrounded by horses and dogs, I can’t imagine a home without them. Family life here revolves around muddy boots, countryside walks, beach visits, school runs, dog walks and plenty of time spent outdoors.
Our dogs are very much part of the family. Tecwyn, our gentle ten-year-old miniature poodle, enjoys a quieter pace of life these days (although still has bundles of energy for walks), while Betsi, aged four, is the much-loved mum of our puppies. Both live in the house with us and are involved in every aspect of family life.
The puppies are raised in the heart of our home, surrounded by everyday family activity, children, visitors and all the sights and sounds of a busy household. We believe this gives them the very best start in life and helps them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions.
