Meet Moonface Manor

About Me Hi, I'm Alfie, and welcome to Moonface Manor. We are a small family-based British Shorthair cattery in Chelmsford, Essex. Our cats and kittens are very much part of our family and are raised in our home, surrounded by everyday family life. We have three children and a Giant Schnauzer, so our kittens grow up around children, adults and a large dog from an early age. They're handled every day and are exposed to all the normal sights and sounds of a busy family home. For us, breeding isn't about producing as many kittens as possible. We breed with the long-term goal of strengthening our own lines and producing healthy, strong British Shorthairs with excellent temperaments. Health, temperament and the overall quality of the breed are extremely important to us. We carefully consider the cats we breed from and aim to improve with every generation while maintaining the characteristics that make the British Shorthair such a wonderful breed. Our kittens become part of our family from the day they're born, so finding the right homes for them is just as important to us as everything we do before they leave. We are TICA registered and take great pride in the care, socialisation and preparation that goes into every Moonface Manor kitten.
