Meet Phaselswood German Shepherds

About Phaselswood German Shepherds Phaselswood German Shepherds is not a commercial kennel – we are simply passionate owners of a small number of much-loved German Shepherd Dogs who live with us as part of our family. I have been breeding Kennel Club registered German Shepherds since December 2010, originally starting in Hemel Hempstead with my white German Shepherd Storm, who was later joined by our handsome solid-back male Kodi. Together they produced several successful litters of healthy black and black and tan puppies raised within a home environment. During this time we also had a beautiful solid blue coloured female, Sky, who produced two lovely litters with Kodi, including black and gold and sable puppies. Kodi passed away in 2018 at the age of nine, and Sky sadly left us in 2020. Storm remained my closest companion until she passed away in 2023 at the wonderful age of fourteen. From Storm’s final litter we kept Ice, born in April 2016, an exceptionally large and handsome white male with a relaxed and friendly temperament. In 2022 Akela joined us from Mountwhite Kennels and has grown into an energetic, intelligent and independent German Shepherd who thrives on activity and the outdoors. Together they represent the next chapter of Phaselswood German Shepherds, continuing our aim of producing healthy, well-balanced German Shepherds with excellent temperaments. Our Ethos Our approach to breeding has always been simple: health, temperament and responsible ownership come first. All of our dogs are Kennel Club registered and health tested, including BVA hip and elbow scoring, with appropriate genetic and testing where relevant. We breed only occasionally and always from dogs that are part of our family. Before its closure, we were proud members of the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme, adhering to its high standards of responsible breeding, puppy welfare and careful home selection. Puppies are raised in a home environment, where they are accustomed to normal household life and early socialisation. We remain committed to supporting puppy owners throughout their dog’s life and we are still in contact with many families who have owned Phaselswood puppies over the years. Our goal is to produce healthy, confident German Shepherds with sound temperaments, suited to loving family homes and active lifestyles. Our Puppies Phaselswood puppies are bred carefully and raised at our home, ensuring they receive early socialisation and plenty of interaction from the very beginning. Puppies are accustomed to normal household sounds, visitors and everyday family life, helping them grow into confident and well-adjusted dogs. All puppies leave for their new homes with the appropriate documentation, health information and guidance to help new owners provide the very best care. We take great care in matching our puppies to suitable homes and are always happy to remain in contact with owners throughout the dog’s life. We are proud to say that many families who have owned Phaselswood puppies over the years still keep in touch and are always welcome to update us on their dogs.
