Meet Sakinah Purrs

Welcome to Sakinah Purrs 🐾 My name is Sarah and cats are a genuine passion of mine. I am a dedicated cat owner and currently studying towards my Level 3 Diploma in Feline Care, Welfare and Behaviour, continually developing my knowledge so that the cats and kittens in my care receive the very best start possible. My cats are first and foremost much loved members of our family. They live alongside us in our home and are treated as pets, never simply as breeding animals. Their health, temperament, happiness and welfare will always come before producing kittens. Any kittens raised at Sakinah Purrs are born and raised within our family home. From an early age they experience normal household life, plenty of gentle handling, affection and age-appropriate socialisation, helping them grow into confident, happy and well-adjusted little cats. I believe responsible breeding means being open and transparent with prospective families. Where an outside stud has been used, this will always be clearly stated, and information about both the mother and father will be provided wherever available. Before leaving for their new homes, my priority is ensuring that each kitten is healthy, appropriately prepared for their next stage of life and matched with a home where they will be genuinely loved and cared for. I am also developing Sakinah Purrs Professional Feline Care & Consultancy, with my wider work centred around feline care, welfare and behaviour. My aim is to continue learning and eventually offer a range of professional services dedicated specifically to cats and the people who love them. I don't see finding homes for kittens as simply making a sale. I want their new families to feel comfortable asking questions, getting to know them and keeping in touch after they leave. Seeing a kitten I've helped raise thriving in a loving home is exactly what this is all about 🐾❤️
