Starfish Dog Rescue is a small organization which rescues and rehomes dogs and other pets. We help people who are no longer able to keep their pets to find an alternative home for them, where they will be loved and cared for just as much as they have been in their original home. We also take in abandoned and unwanted pets and work to find a permanent loving home for them. All our animals are fostered in family homes so we are limited to the amount and type of animals we can help. We also are involved in rescuing dogs from Spain and so far this year have helped 26 on to new lives in the UK. In the case of the Spanish dogs the same applies except they will also have their Pet Passport and we have them blood tested for diseases before they travel to make sure they are clear. Our adoption fee reflects the vet fees and in the case of the Spanish dogs the travel costs & Pet Passport too, as we could not be able to continue our work - anybody who adopts any of our animals without any exceptions will be home checked.
