Meet HowtonOak

Hi, I’m Steph, and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I currently share my home with 14 dogs who are first and foremost my much-loved family pets. My dogs live as part of the family and every one of them has their own personality, quirks, and place in my heart. My main breed is the Sprocker Spaniel, and I am incredibly proud to now be breeding my third generation of home-bred Sprockers. Over the years I have carefully selected breeding dogs based on health, temperament, trainability, and their ability to make wonderful family companions. I also own a Labrador stud dog who is available to approved bitches. I breed on a small scale and only when I feel it is right for my girls. Their health, happiness, and welfare will always come before breeding. My dogs are pets first and breeding dogs second, and all of my girls remain with me for life. I never sell retired breeding dogs, as they are part of my family and will stay with me to enjoy their retirement. From the moment a pregnancy is confirmed, every litter receives round-the-clock care, attention, and socialisation. Puppies are raised in a loving home environment, exposed to everyday sights and sounds, and given the very best start in life. Each puppy is treated as an individual, and finding the right home is just as important to me as producing healthy, happy puppies. I am always happy to answer questions, offer advice, and support my puppy families both before and after they take their puppy home.
