Diesel is a traditional home bred working-type black Labrador of excellent health and temperament. Calm, thoughtful, and biddable, he has developed into a steady, athletic dog with natural working ability and a kind, reliable character.
From a young age, he showed a calm and observant nature which has stayed with him into adulthood. At home, he is relaxed and affectionate, often carrying toys around the house when he is pleased with himself. He is good with people of all ages and other animals, and is confident in any environment, from quiet countryside to busy, bustling settings.
In gundog training, he is proving responsive and keen to learn. He has a natural soft mouth, a steady attitude, and shows strong drive to retrieve, always willing to give his best and quick to understand what is being asked of him.
