KJALARNES KENNELS Kjalarnes Kennels is an established show / breeding kennel in the heart of England 5 minutes from the A45 / M42 / M6. We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders and have been breeding Newfoundlands and Leonbergers since 1998. Dogs from our kennels have been successfully shown at Championship level in the UK, having several Best of Breed as well as Best Bitch and Best Puppy wins and Best Puppy in Breed. FAIR PRICING OF PUPPIES We do not believe in charging excessively high prices for puppies but equally are not prepared to undervalue our dogs and sell well below the market price. ETHICAL BREEDING / HEALTH We health screen all our dogs and only use dogs which have not only passed all the Breed Club and Kennel Club recommended health tests but also do not have other health or behaviour problems. We aim to produce healthy, happy puppies with good temperaments which are ideal for families or for show homes if appropriate. We will not sell unhealthy or unsuitable puppies. REARING PUPPIES Puppies are reared and socialised in a home environment. They are fully health monitored from birth (records can be seen) and are checked by our vet prior to leaving for their new homes. CONTRACT OF SALE / YOUR GUARANTEE All puppies are are sold with a contract of sale guaranteeing the rights of the new owner plus a commitment to the future welfare of the puppy. Puppies are additionally provided with 4 weeks free insurance. We are confident about the service we provide and the condition of our dogs and puppies. To this end we positively encourage visits from our local authority animal welfare team even though we are not licensed.
