Angel (m, 1.5yo) and Patch (f, 4mths) are two gentle souls who survived the harsh realities of street life together where they were living in a colony of around 40 cats. Despite their age difference, these two have formed a deep, heartwarming bond. Angel finds immense comfort and reassurance in Patch’s presence, while little Patch loves snuggling up with her fuzzy, gentle buddy. They are looking for a loving forever home together where they can feel safe, warm, and cherished.
Angel spent a year and a half surviving on the streets and arrived with a severe flea infestation that is now fully resolved. Because of his past, he is an extremely gentle and laid-back boy, but he remains very timid, edgy, and flinches easily at sudden movements or loud sounds. He is non-dominant and easily intimidated at mealtime, meaning he currently needs a patient human who will give him a quiet, dedicated space to eat without competition from other pets. While he isn't much of a big eater right now, he absolutely adores plain boiled chicken. Angel needs a gentle adopter with cat experience who understands anxious feline behaviour and will give him all the time and soft encouragement he needs to blossom at his own pace.
Patch is one of the colony kittens and is currently about four months old. She is cheeky, playful, full of curiosity, and loves a good belly rub! When she was first rescued, she was suffering from a severe roundworm infection that left her gut very sensitive. Her digestive system is still recovering, so she is currently doing wonderfully on Royal Canin Gastrointestinal food (both wet and dry kibble), occasionally mixed with plain boiled chicken as a treat. Her new family will need to keep her on a strict GI diet with som probiotics while her gut continues to heal, as anything too rich will trigger diarrhoea. Patch has plenty of kitten zoomies to get out, and since gentle Angel won't match her energetic play, she needs an adopter who will give her dedicated one-on-one play time every day.
Because Angel is so anxious, they need a quiet, peaceful home that is adult-only or has mature children aged 12 and up who can respect their space. After surviving the elements on the streets, both cats truly adore creature comforts like warm blankets, plush beds, and cosy spots to curl up together. Having come from a large colony, they are both exceptionally social and friendly with other cats, so they would do well in a home with existing friendly felines. As an indoor-only charity, we require an indoor-only home for their safety, though a secure catio or fully cat-proofed garden would be considered.
