🚨 URGENT – OLIVE REALLY NEEDS HER PERSON 🚨 We'd love to start Olive's story with “Once upon a time…” But unfortunately, this is no fairytale. And right now, we urgently need to change the ending for her. Olive is a 3-year-old, extra-large mixed-breed girl weighing around 40kg. Before rescue, she was found chained, beaten, neglected and starving. Eventually, Olive got her chance. She travelled to the UK, free from her chain and ready for a completely different life. But experiences like that can leave scars. With people, Olive is the biggest softie. She adores human company, loves being with her people and has so much affection to give. Other animals are where Olive struggles. She is not comfortable around other dogs and cannot live with cats. At 40kg, she needs someone experienced and confident who understands how to manage a large, powerful dog and can give her the life she needs. Her home needs to be: • Pet-free – no dogs or cats • With someone experienced with large dogs • Somewhere she can be exercised safely away from other dogs • With people prepared to understand and work with her needs • Full of the human companionship she absolutely loves We know we're looking for a very particular home. But we also know that home exists. And finding it is becoming pretty urgent. Olive doesn't need a fairy godmother, a genie or a knight in shining armour. She needs one experienced person to see past the difficult bits and recognise the beautiful, people-loving girl underneath. 📍 Olive is currently in Scotland but can travel for the right home.
