Description
We are very carefully looking for the right forever home for Peppa, our 9 month old Cockapoo/Spaniel. This decision has not been made lightly and her welfare is our absolute priority.
Peppa was originally our puppy and was rehomed to a trusted friend, however due to a change in their circumstances she had to return to us.
Peppa is a bright, affectionate and intelligent young dog with lots of potential. She knows his basic training, walks well on the lead and her recall is getting better. She is friendly with people (a little shy at first), good with other dogs, and has been good around children.
As Peppa is still a puppy, there are areas that will need continued work:
• She is almost fully toilet trained but has the odd accident
• She can sometimes cry if left in the garden and prefers company outside when toileting
• She has a very active mind and can sometimes struggle to switch off
• She benefits from calm time to help her settle and rest after play or walks
Because of this, Peppa will need both mental stimulation and physical exercise, along with calm, consistent training and a structured routine.
Peppa is not a ready-made, low-maintenance puppy and will need continued training, time and commitment, so please only enquire if you are serious and able to meet her needs.
The home we are looking for:
• A calm, patient and consistent owner
• Someone with the time and commitment to continue her training
• Ideally a home without young children if possible, so Peppa can be the main focus
(A home with slightly older children may be considered for an exceptional match)
We are not in a rush and will only consider homes that fully understand Peppa’s needs. We would like to stay in contact with the occasional update if possible. A meet-and-greet will be essential, and we are happy to discuss Peppa honestly with genuine enquiries.
Peppa deserves a loving, committed forever home where she can thrive.
