Description

Fully health tested stunning litter of 9 Kennel Club registered Cocker Spaniel puppies who will be ready to leave us on 21st November when they are 8 weeks old. Mum is our darling Doris a KC registered Cocker Spaniel - she has a wonderful temperament and is a fantastic mummy to her puppies. She’s excellent with other dogs and children and is an integral part of our family. The dad is a specially selected KC registered Cocker Spaniel who has been selected for his intelligence, colouring and disposition (relevant DNA and PRA tests are clear and the certificate is available for inspection). Doris has also had extensive DNA tests including the following: Acral Mutilation Syndrome (GDNF) Familial Nepropathy - (COL4A4) Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRCD) Degenerative Myelopathy (SOD1) Exercise-Induced Collapse (DNM1) Glycogen Storage Disease VII (PFKM) A copy of the certificate is available for inspection. Cocker Spaniels make extremely intelligent (which makes them easy to train), loving and loyal pets. They do require lots of love, cuddles, walks and plenty of outdoor space. We only want the best homes so please don’t be offended if we ask lots of questions. The puppies will leave us with: * KC registration papers * 5 weeks free insurance provided by KC * toy * food (sufficient to get started) * blanket (with mummy and sibling scent) * first vaccination record * vet health checked * microchipped * detailed puppy guide * wormed every two weeks from birth with Panacur * endorsed by Kennel Club so these puppies are sold as intelligent, loving and loyal pets We are now accepting home visits or FaceTime to choose and reserve your puppy on a first come first served basis. A non-refundable deposit is due when you visit and reserve your puppy with the balance to be paid upon collection. Is a Cocker Spaniel right for me/my family? The Cocker Spaniel is known for being gentle, affectionate and friendly, and is often referred to as the 'merry cocker ' which is clearly demonstrated by its ever wagging tail! Are you looking for a loyal companion? These gorgeous pups are a gentle, kind and loving companion and are brilliant to consider if you have young children. They are famous for their merry, sound and trustworthy temperament. Do they make great family pets? Cocker Spaniel do best with fairly active owners that can give them at least an hour of exercise a day so they can explore their surroundings, expend some energy and have a good sniff around. They would be happy in most sized homes as long as they have enough mental stimulation and physical exercise. Grooming and Shedding? Generally, Cocker Spaniels require grooming and regular brushing due to their fur. While they don't shed a lot of fur, this breed does need to have its coat washed and combed often. A Cocker Spaniel's coat takes some maintenance, requiring daily grooming. Their owners should also be prepared for some shedding, with changing frequency during the year. Origin? Cockers Spaniels were originally bred to work and hunt, both on land and in water. Although they continue to be used as gundogs today, they are also very popular family dogs and used for various service and therapy roles due to their intelligence and good-nature, including work as hearing or sniffer dogs. Intelligence? Cocker Spaniels are incredibly smart dogs. For obedience and working intelligence, the English Cocker Spaniel is the 20th smartest dog breed. They are easy to train, which means that owners should have no problem at all teaching them new commands. Cocker Spaniels love learning new skills.
