Description
I rehomed this lovely female cat around 2 weeks ago as part of my breeding plan. I was informed that she is a British Shorthair and that she has previously had one litter of 5 kittens (her condition when she arrived confirmed she had recently raised kittens).
When she arrived, she unfortunately had fleas, so I took her straight to the vet and spent £180 on treatment. She has now been fully treated, is flea-free, healthy, and doing very well.
She has a wonderful personality — very affectionate, gentle, and enjoys cuddles and attention. She happily comes to you for petting and loves human company. She is great with children and has shown a very sweet nature.
Sadly, despite giving it time, she has not settled with my existing cats. After two weeks they are still fighting quite harshly, and I feel it is unfair and stressful for all of them. At the moment they have to live separately (one upstairs and one downstairs), which is not an ideal long-term situation.
She is used to a standard litter tray (she did not adapt well to automatic litter boxes, so I introduced a normal one which she uses well).
Because her wellbeing is my priority, I have made the difficult decision to find her a calm, loving new home where she can be the only cat or introduced carefully. I do not know how she is with dogs.
I am looking for a responsible owner who can offer her the safe and caring home she deserves.
