Description
I am advertising on behalf of my neighbour as he is in need of help rehoming them. They are a litter of 6 kittens (a mix of males and females). They are exactly 8 weeks old today, they are the sweetest, playful little kittens and have been looked after well by my lovely neighbour. They have been weaned off mum and eating wet kitten food, they are also all litter trained. They have had their first worming treatment today. They have not yet been treated for fleas (but they are kept strictly indoors). They are also unvaccinated and of course unneutered too. As much as we want to vaccinate them ourselves, it is a massive expense for all 6 and we are hoping that whoever purchases/adopts would be happy to get them vaccinated & flea treated asap.. and then eventually neutered when at the appropriate age.
The mother: she visited my neighbours garden often, he was unaware that she was pregnant until she gave birth in his home. We are unsure if she was previously owned or a stray however she seems to be very healthy and my neighbour has looked after her well. Mum is a calm, sweet cat. She has also been kept strictly indoors since she gave birth. We plan to get mum vaccinated, neutered etc now that the kittens have been weaned off from mum.
We are hoping that the kittens go to calm, loving and caring homes. We plan to look for adopters ourselves but looking long term-eventually we may have to take them to a shelter due to circumstances. They are used to a calm, quiet environment as my neighbour lives alone. A few kittens are more confident than others, but we are sure they would be happy around other cats (I dont feel that they would adjust well to a home with a dog though).
